FAQ
What is CRC Health Group?
CRC Health Group is America's largest provider of behavioral health care and addiction services, offering care to over 30,000 people on any given day. CRC Health has treated addiction and behavioral health challenges for over 30 years.
All CRC Health outpatient clinics are fully accredited and employ only qualified and licensed medical staff.
What outpatient services are offered?
As America's largest behavioral health care organization, CRC Health offers a full spectrum of addiction treatments on an outpatient as well as residential basis. Outpatient services include:
- Ambulatory medical detox
- Intensive outpatient treatment
- Suboxone
- Methadone
- Family therapy
- Continuing care programs
- Individual treatment and therapy
- Court approved programs
Why get outpatient treatment?
Many people do not need the intensity, structure, and supervision of residential treatment and will benefit most from affordable and effective outpatient addiction treatment while staying at home with family, working, or going to school.
Do you take private health insurance?
Outpatient treatment programs are often insurance funded. Over 700 private health insurance companies and managed care plans recognize CRC Health's excellence in the field of addiction treatment with preferred coverage statuses. Patients with Kaiser insurance must have a referral from Kaiser before beginning treatment.
Do you offer financial assistance to lower income clients?
Yes. Clients without private insurance can use Medi-Cal to pay for some services and private pay clients can access sliding scale billing, where fees are tied to family income, making services accessible to all.
How do I know what kind of treatment I need?
Addiction treatment is most effective when each client gets matched to an appropriate treatment program. As America's largest addiction treatment organization, we offer an array of programs wide enough to meet the needs of most callers. We will evaluate your needs and suggest an appropriate treatment program. If we don't offer the type of treatment you need, we will help you find the care you deserve elsewhere. We have 40 full-time treatment experts offering telephone assistance and expertise 24 hours a day.
